01 / PELAJARAN

This project helped me revisit the IoT fundamentals I previously used during university, internships, and my final project. I rebuilt the complete path from physical hardware to a remote web interface: MQTT messaging for device control, passive BLE advertisements for environmental telemetry, and a Raspberry Pi acting as an edge gateway.

I also explored the practical limitations of running computer vision on older hardware. Instead of processing camera frames in the browser, object and face detection runs directly on the Pi. Person detections can generate timestamped snapshots, which are indexed in SQLite and automatically rotated within a fixed storage budget.

Most importantly, this became an experiment in vibe coding: quickly turning ideas into working features while still learning how the hardware, networking, backend services, and frontend fit together.
